I love the idea of bullet journaling and use many of it's concepts in OneNote. To sit and write in an actual notebook isn't something I can get into a routine for - especially for work. But I can with OneNote! I use the Move it forward, decide if it needs to be done, etc. And those photos of the kidlets...how were they so small?
Oh, OneNote is a great place for it, and that makes it easily searchable too! I love the actual handwriting though so I keep some stuff in Notion (I like it better than OneNote) and some in my notebooks.
Also, yes, I have no idea how my kids are this big :D
I have never tried bullet journaling...I have a stalogy notebook I use for brain dumps.... I've always used a paper planner alongside Google Calendar which the entire family has access to this and also it's easy because all appointments automatically go on there.
I've been using the Hobonichi Cousin planner for 2 years now and I love the flow of monthly, weekly and daily pages all in one. My sacred time is planner time and my kids know not to disturb mom during this time . Also the paper element is so exciting because I get to buy stickers, pens and highlighters .
